In an earlier post I mentioned that I finally got around to cleaning out the closet in our bedroom. That made me think of all the other areas in our apartment that could use an organizational overhaul.
My next organizing project is my petite kitchen. I am trying to think differently about my kitchen. It is the one thing I don't like about our apartment. Since we moved in, I have called it the Hobbit kitchen..lol. I am trying to think of it as petite and not Hobbit-ish. It is the smallest kitchen I have ever had the "pleasure" of using. There is no counter space to do a
ny real elaborate cooking in and there really isn't enough storage. I loved the kitchen I had in our rental house. There was space galore and plenty of storage. I guess after having the luxury of that kitchen, everything else will have a hard time measuring up.
As you can see by the pictures that it really needs help. I am going to reorganize the pantry, cabinets, and counter tops to try and make it a little easier to work in. I am trying to find the positive and I am very thankful that I do have a stove that works well and a dishwasher!!
When I get my project complete I will post pictures. Hopefully there will be a noticeable difference in the before and after.
